Our Black community has suffered at the hands of those that have sworn to protect us. Our Asian community continues to battle hate crimes through this pandemic. Our Latinx community continues to be marginalized by attached immigration issues. Our Indigenous community is overrepresented in our state’s criminal justice system and we continue to fight for our murdered and missing Indigenous woman. Yet, we are still scratching the surface of the issues facing our BIPOC community.
